MUSÉE D’Orsay

My favorite museum in Paris is the Musée D'Orsay.
The gorgeous space (a former train station) is filled with a dizzying array of Impressionist paintings –
Degas, Monet, Seurat, Manet, Cézanne, Gaugin, Pissaro, Sisley, VanGogh, Renoir...(swoon!) – just to name a few.

Besides that (and isn't that really enough?), while it is a good-sized museum,
it is smaller and much more manageable than its behemoth neighbor across the Seine, Le Louvre.

What's your favorite museum in Paris?

I've eaten in all the restaurants from the self-serve cafeteria to the fancy dining room.
My favorite is the restaurant under the clock (forgive me for not remembering the name).
That being said, I recall on my last visit, they had changed the decor since this photo was taken –
the chairs were bright orange plastic –and despite the gorgeous clock, it was a little less charming.
